2002 Manufactured Housing introduces the first 90% high-efficiency furnace in the standard footprint size for manufactured housing.
2003 For the 4th consecutive time, NORDYNE recognized by Copeland as having the fewest compressor failures in the industry.
  NORDYNE announces they will close their oldest plant facility in St. Louis, Mo. to open a larger facility in Dyersburg, Tenn. in order to accommodate the continued growth in residential market and expansion into light commercial.
  Manufactured Housing Industry has been in steady decline since 1998, and the market is less than half of its original size in sales, although NORDYNE market share is at its highest.
  Mammoth Light Commercial Line introduced.
2004 NORDYNE International is formed and headquartered in Miami, Fla.
  A major plant operation occurs between 90% of the lines to accommodate growth in the residential and manufactured housing market.
  FEMA begins using Platinum Series products for hurricane recovery housing projects.
2005 NORDYNE introduces Broan heating and cooling products for modular housing market.
  Plants begin DFT-recertification process.
  NORDYNE first exceeds its $500 million goal and sets new $1 billion goal for 2010.
2006 DOE minimum efficiency standard for cooling is raised to 13 SEER from 10 SEER.
  NORDYNE introduces the first air conditioner to achieve 23 SEER, named iQ DriveŽ.
2007 NORDYNE introduces two-stage, 95.1%+ AFUE gas furnaces into the heating market as some of the most efficient furnaces available.
  The iQ Drive air conditioner system is awarded the Dealer Design Gold Award (highest) in the residential energy efficient products category. The Dealer Design Awards sponsored by The Air Conditioner, Heating and Refrigeration News and selected by an independent panel of heating and cooling contractors.
  NORDYNE introduces iHybrid™, a 14 SEER dual fuel packaged system that is part gas and part electric heat pump.
2008 The iQ Drive air conditioning system wins best in category for cooling performance as well as the best overall winner among all category winners
  NORDYNE introduces iSEER™ energy efficient motors in a new line of residential gas furnaces. The iSEER motor improves the energy efficiency of the outdoor unit when the furnace is used to distribute cool air during the summer months.
2008 Helping consumers better understand leading-edge technology that is also environmentally-friendly, NORDYNE launches ecoLogic™. The green seal helps consumers and dealers identify products that have very green characteristics, including extreme efficiency and air quality properties.
