1994 NORDYNE recognized by Copeland as having the fewest compressor failures in the industry.
1995 Split System air conditioners and “A” coil line produced using DFT process.
1996 Manufactured Housing brands Intertherm and Miller dominate the market, and account for two-thirds of NORDYNE sales.
1997 Company announces to their distribution the licensing of consumer brand names for their residential line.
1998 NORDYNE becomes first HVAC manufacturer to be DFT certified.
  NORDYNE rolls out the brand names Frigidaire, Tappan and Philco as replacement brands for residential HVAC market. These consumer brand names have been serving home appliance products close to 100 years. Intertherm & Miller become dedicated manufactured housing brands, as well as used in some international markets.
1999 NORDYNE adds Kelvinator and Gibson brands to the lineup to solidify brand line and prepare for multi-tier strategy.
  Manufactured Housing Market begins to decline, although NORDYNE continues to grow its share.
2000 NORDYNE recognized by Copeland as having the fewest compressor failures in the industry.
  NORDYNE rolls out the multi-tier strategy of Premier, Deluxe and Standard levels of brands. The residential business continues to greatly outpace the growth of the HVAC industry for the third consecutive year.
  Besides a differentiated look between the product lines, an 8-year warranty and a Quality Pledge are implemented in the premium line of Frigidaire and Tappan to differentiate the levels of offering. It is the biggest warranty offered by the manufacturer in the HVAC industry on HVAC products.
2001 Platinum Series air conditioners and heat pumps introduced to Manufactured Housing. New design allows for easy installation, residential-style air returns and even distribution of airflow throughout home.
  NORDYNE opens its third manufacturing plant in Poplar Bluff, Mo. in response for product demand.
2002 NORDYNE introduces SmartLiteŽ Technology to furnaces to expand life expectancy of the standard furnace igniter. This technology an industry first, using technology in which the furnace can self-adjust its start-up time based on learning the start-up characteristic of the furnace during its first few operations.
  NORDYNE introduces Westinghouse product line to its premium line offering of HVAC equipment at the AHR Expo.
  NORDYNE introduces Maytag HVAC products as a Premier HVAC line at the Comfortech Show. It is the first HVAC line to offer stainless steel features and a 10 year parts and labor warranty, and a 5 year Dependability Promise direct from the factory.
